Admission to the course is through the common procedure stipulated by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala. The merit is assessed by giving equal weightage to the marks obtained in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) and the grade/marks in the qualifying examination. 50% of the seat is directly allotted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations and rest is filled up by the management. A pass in NATA Examination is mandatory for both state as well as management admissions.Other conditions are as per Government directives from time to time.
As per the circular of CoA dtd.01/02/2017 the following are the eligibility for B.Arch course.
1. 50% marks each in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
2.And aggregate 50% at plus2 (10+2) level examination.
3. NATA marks minimum 80 ie.40% of 200
International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination.
In addition to the academic eligibility, only those candidate who score 40% or 80 marks out of 200 (for all categories of candidates) in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture(NATA) will be considered for admission.
Selection of candidates for admission to the course varies for merit and management seats
Merit seats: The candidates are to follow the KEAM Entrance Examination procedure stipulated by the commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala.
Management seats:Candidates are required to apply to the college directly in the prescribed form along with the necessary documents.
